On November 30th 2011, an estimated 30,000 people marched through the streets of London in protest against the public service pension reforms proposed by the UK Government. I followed the people from Lincoln Inn Fields to the Embankment where the march ended.
Along the way were many people from all walks of life and many reasons that they all came together. It was largely a peaceful event with families that had come to support in solidarity. Amongst them was a 91-year-old man who walked the whole way. He was accompanied by Lee Jasper (activist) who helped the senior citize
